Abstract
Through the study, the researcher aims to shed light on the role of strategic planning in enhancing the quality of organizational performance in the Ministry of Interior / Police College, as strategic planning helps organizations and others anticipate the surrounding environmental changes and how to cope with them, and that any progress in any developed organization cannot be implemented on the strategic plans. For this reason, the concepts of strategic planning have become as basic criteria in evaluating the quality of the organization’s performance and it has great responsibilities before its employees, which is what requires these organizations to improve their level of performance by relying on strategic planning, and clarifying the image of the organization before all the employers group and other justifications that led to the discussion For this topic because of its importance and in order to test the study hypotheses and achieve its objectives, the researcher selected the sample (probability stratification) from the study population in the Ministry of Interior / Police College, represented by (department directors, people directors, lecturers, training officers, training teachers), considering that these levels are It is the closest to the subject of the study, so the sample size was (155) individuals, i.e. 60% of the total study population. The amount of (260) individuals, and the researcher used a questionnaire to measure these variables based on previous studies and the additions added by the judges and the researcher, and the (Likert) five-point scale was used in the answers of the sample members, and the researcher used to analyze the data and treat it on a number of tools and methods Statistical, including the ready-made statistical software package (Spss-V.23) and (Amos-V.23), which are used to extract results, and in light of the results and analyzes, the study reached a set of conclusions, the most important of which is the effect of strategic planning dimensions on the quality of organizational performance. The researcher set a set of recommendations, the most prominent of which was the development of measures for strategic planning at all levels from time to time according to various measures, and adopted to discover deviations and errors, and address them immediately.
