organizations

Abstract

The current research aims to test the effect of (Total Quality Management) as an independent variable in (Entrepreneurial Orientation) as a dependent variable for workers in the organization, and the researcher tried to reach a measurement of correlation and effect relationships between research variables and test them. To achieve this, the researcher tried to rely on the contributions of specialists and researchers and sober studies that investigated the two variables. The sample of the research included (105) employees in the Wassit Agriculture Directorate, the problem of the research was represented by several questions, the most prominent of which is (Does TQM have an effect on the organization’s pioneering orientation?), The importance of the research was reflected in the agricultural sector, which is one of the important and vital sectors that contributes to the national economy. The main tool for the research was (a questionnaire form) that was designed based on a number of global measures related to the current research variables represented in the total quality management and Entrepreneurial orientation, then the data obtained were analyzed using statistical methods (Cronbach’s alpha coefficient, arithmetic mean, coefficient of variation standard deviation , Pearson Correlation Coefficient, Simple Linear Regression Analysis) using the statistical analysis program SPSS V.22. The results of the research proved the validity of the hypotheses that were formulated, and in light of the results obtained, the researcher reached a set of conclusions and recommendations to enhance total quality management among workers and achieve high levels of performance. The most prominent of these conclusions is that (TQM has an effect on achieving the Entrepreneurial orientation in the directorate, and that the application of TQM had a positive role in achieving the Entrepreneurial orientation for the directorate in providing its services to farmers.
The research Recommended, among other recommendations the need for the organization to pay attention to the customer, who is the farmer, to accelerate the services provided to him, providing financial support to the workers, and holding training courses that contribute to providing them with the necessary skills and capabilities, and to encourage them to innovate to advance the status of the agricultural organization).
