Abstract
The study mainly aims to determine the importance of intellectual curiosity and digital passion in enhancing strategic superiority through the interactive role of strategic vision. The study was applied in the General Company for the Southern Fertilizer Industry in Basrh Governorate. The study was based on a basic problem that was diagnosed with a number of questions that included the extent of visualizing the influential and interactive relationships between the study variables in the field. To establish the philosophical foundations, the study relied on measuring the variables on a number of solid scales, as intellectual curiosity was measured through five dimensions (searching for knowledge, Joyous exploration, social curiosity, Stress tolerance, Thrill Seeking), and digital passion was measured by adopting four dimensions (digital awareness, digital capabilities, digital marketing, and mainstream computing), while the strategic vision was measured through two dimensions (future orientation, and broad acceptance), and strategic superiority was measured by adopting three dimensions (areas of influence, competitive formation, and competitive pressures). The descriptive analytical approach was adopted in presenting, interpreting and analyzing the study information, and the questionnaire was used as a tool for collecting data and information. The study sample amounted to (322) workers, in addition to interviews with heads of a number of important departments in the company. To analyze the study and conduct statistical processing, confirmatory factor analysis was relied upon as the main structural tests for the validity of the adopted measures. In addition to using a number of descriptive statistical measures (Pearson correlation coefficient), structural equation modeling (SEM) to measure the level of simple and multiple direct effect relationships and indirect effect between variables, and the (moderated) effect to measure the interactive variable in the relationship between the independent variables and the dependent variable. The above tools were implemented using some computer programs (SPSS V. 25), (Amos V. 25), and a number of conclusions were reached through the study, the most important of which is that the interest of the research sample company in formulating an effective strategic vision at the field level would enhance the impact of intellectual curiosity and digital passion in achieving strategic superiority. Therefore, one of the most important recommendations of the study was for the company to focus on adopting a clear vision that gives employees a sense of purpose and encourages them to achieve the organization’s direction.
