Professor Dr. Sabah Wajid Ali, the esteemed President of the University of Karbala, expressed his appreciation for the significant and outstanding efforts made by the College of Administration and Economics at the university, recognizing its active cooperation and tangible contribution to the success of the Voter Card Update Project.
His Excellency praised the prominent role played by the college’s administration, represented by Assistant Professor Dr. Hashem Jabbar Al-Husseini, the respected Dean of the College, along with the administrative and technical staff, in carrying out their assigned duties. This included providing suitable conditions for citizens and facilitating the process of updating their electoral data.
He also commended the college’s initiative to establish a dedicated center for updating voter cards within its premises, which contributed to enhancing electoral awareness and fostering a culture of civic participation among students, staff, and local citizens.
This initiative comes within the framework of ongoing cooperation between state institutions to support the Electoral Commission and reflects the vital role of Iraqi universities in serving the community and promoting democratic practices.
