The Head of the Accounting Department at the College of Administration and Economics – University of Karbala, Dr. Abdul-Rasoul Abdul-Abbas Sahib, held an extensive meeting with the department’s faculty members, in the presence of the Department Secretary, Dr. Mohammed Jabbar Fishakh Al-Ghazi, as part of the early preparations for the new academic year.

During the meeting, a range of key topics was discussed to enhance the educational process and ensure its optimal start. The department head emphasized the following points:

• Completing the work of the examination committees for the concluded academic year with accuracy and transparency.
• Preparing for the official start of the new academic year and ensuring all necessary requirements are in place.
• Enforcing adherence to the uniform policy for students and faculty, with strict attention to eliminating smoking within the college premises.
• Presenting a comprehensive plan that includes schedules for training courses, workshops, scientific seminars, and publications planned for the academic year.
• Focusing on the annual faculty evaluation file to enhance academic and administrative performance quality.
• Updating the college website with articles and research that highlight academic and knowledge developments.
• Forming special committees to prepare course descriptions for the Bologna program, particularly for the second stage, in line with academic development requirements.
• Discussing additional topics related to the educational and administrative process to improve performance efficiency and develop departmental outcomes.
