The College of Administration and Economics at the University of Karbala Holds the 2025 Date Exhibition in Cooperation with the Holy Shrine of Imam Hussain

The College of Administration and Economics at the University of Karbala organized its Annual Date Exhibition for 2025, in cooperation with the Holy Shrine of Imam Hussain and its affiliated Fadak Palm Farm, as part of the college’s efforts to strengthen collaboration between academic institutions and productive sectors, and to support national agricultural products.

The exhibition was attended by Assistant President of the University for Scientific and Postgraduate Affairs, Assistant Professor Dr. Haider Mohammed Imran, Assistant President of the University for Administrative and Financial Affairs, Assistant Professor Dr. Jassim Idan Al-Maamouri, Head of the Agricultural Authority at the Holy Shrine of Imam Hussain, Engineer Razzaq Al-Ta’i, and Director of Fadak Farm, Mr. Faez Abu Al-Ma’ali, along with the Dean of the College, Assistant Professor Dr. Hashim Jabbar Al-Husseini, several faculty members, students, and those interested in the agricultural sector.

The exhibition showcased a distinguished variety of date types produced at the Fadak Farm, accompanied by detailed explanations of cultivation methods, palm care, marketing strategies, and food processing operations related to date products.

In his remarks, the Dean of the College emphasized the importance of organizing such events that bridge academic learning with practical application, promote a culture of local production, and encourage students to conduct research in related economic and agricultural fields.

The event concluded with an exchange of appreciation shields between the College of Administration and Economics and Fadak Farm in recognition of their joint efforts in making this annual event a success.
