In line with the College of Administration and Economics – University of Karbala’s commitment to enhancing communication and coordination among academic departments, Prof. Dr. Faisal Alwan Al-Ta’i, Head of the Business Administration Department, held an extensive meeting with the department’s faculty members, attended by Assistant Dean for Administrative and Financial Affairs, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Hussein Ali Abdullah Al-Miyahi.
During the meeting, a range of academic and administrative issues were discussed, aimed at raising the students’ academic level, ensuring the quality of teaching performance, and exploring ways to develop curricula in alignment with labor market requirements.
The department head also reviewed the plans set for the new academic year, emphasizing the importance of adhering to scientific and academic standards, focusing on research, and promoting scientific activities that enhance the department’s reputation locally and internationally.
For his part, the Assistant Dean praised the faculty members’ role in achieving educational objectives, appreciating their efforts in supporting the college’s academic mission, and reaffirmed that the university presidency and the college administration will continue providing the necessary support to maintain a comprehensive university environment that serves students effectively.
