The College Council of Administration and Economics at the University of Karbala held its 34th regular session, chaired by Assist. Prof. Dr. Hashim Jabbar Al-Husseini, Dean of the College, with the attendance of all council members and a representative of the faculty members.
The Dean began the session by welcoming the council members and appreciating their continuous efforts to advance the scientific and administrative progress of the college. During the meeting, several important agenda items were discussed, including monitoring the progress of teaching in undergraduate and postgraduate studies, preparations for the new academic year, and reviewing reports from scientific and administrative committees.
The council also discussed mechanisms for developing the research and academic plans of the departments, enhancing scientific cooperation with universities and research institutions, and addressing issues related to student affairs and services, contributing to creating a comprehensive university environment.
During the session, Assist. Prof. Dr. Hashim Jabbar Al-Husseini emphasized the importance of teamwork and concerted efforts to achieve the strategic objectives of the college in education, scientific research, and community service.
At the conclusion of the meeting, the council approved a set of decisions and recommendations aimed at supporting the academic and administrative process, in line with the directives of the University of Karbala Presidency and the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research.
