Student Activities Division Organizes Volunteer Campaign to Collect Donations in Preparation for the National Tree Planting Day

As part of its programs aimed at promoting a culture of volunteerism and raising environmental awareness among students, the Student Activities Division at the College of Administration and Economics – University of Karbala launched a volunteer campaign to collect donations in preparation for participating in the National Tree Planting Day activities.

The campaign aims to provide the necessary supplies, including seedlings and tree-planting tools, to enhance greenery within the college halls and courtyards, contributing to expanding green spaces and improving the university environment. It also seeks to instill a sense of belonging and responsibility among students toward their environment and educational institution.

The Student Activities Division emphasized that this initiative reflects the college’s ongoing commitment to supporting volunteer and community activities, noting that the campaign’s success largely depends on student and staff participation and engagement.

The division also invited all students, faculty, and administrative staff to actively contribute to the campaign, reinforcing values of solidarity and teamwork and embodying the university’s role in serving the community and protecting the environment.
