Assistant Professor Dr. Hashem Jabbar Al-Husseini, Dean of the College of Administration and Economics at the University of Karbala, honored the air conditioning maintenance team affiliated with the Higher Education and Technical Authority at the Holy Shrine of Imam Hussain. The recognition was in appreciation of their outstanding efforts in completing the maintenance work for the college’s air conditioning and cooling systems.
The honoring took place during a special ceremony held in the college hall, attended by a number of officials and academics. Dr. Al-Husseini praised the team’s dedicated work in repairing and restoring the cooling systems, which contributed to providing a comfortable learning environment for students and the teaching staff—especially amid the recent high temperatures.
The Dean added that this initiative reflects the spirit of cooperation between state institutions, particularly between the Holy Shrine of Imam Hussain and the Higher Education Authority. He expressed high appreciation for the technical team’s precision and dedication in completing the task within the scheduled timeframe.
In return, a representative of the maintenance team expressed gratitude to the college administration for this kind gesture, affirming the continued commitment of the Holy Shrine and the Higher Education Authority to providing technical and logistical support to educational institutions in service of the academic mission.
It is worth noting that the maintenance team carried out comprehensive work including system inspections, unit cleaning, fault repairs, and replacement of damaged components, all of which contributed to improved energy efficiency and a more comfortable academic environment in classrooms and laboratories.
