College of Administration and Economics at the University of Karbala Implements the “My School” Initiative

The Student Activities Division at the College of Administration and Economics, University of Karbala, has implemented the “My School” initiative launched by the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research, coinciding with the start of the 2025–2026 academic year. The initiative witnessed wide participation from the college’s students, faculty members, and administrative staff.

The initiative included donations of school supplies, ceiling fans, and electrical lighting to support and prepare educational facilities, thereby enhancing the learning environment and providing comfortable and suitable conditions for students throughout their educational journey.

The Dean of the College, Asst. Prof. Dr. Hashem Jabbar Al-Husseini, emphasized that this initiative reflects the Ministry’s and the University’s commitment to fostering a culture of volunteerism and cooperation among students. He noted that the contributions made by students and staff exemplify a strong sense of belonging and social responsibility.

Participating students expressed their pride in taking part in the initiative, highlighting their satisfaction with contributing to the improvement of the college’s environment. They also affirmed their willingness to continue supporting volunteer activities that strengthen the academic journey and reflect the civilized image of the University of Karbala.
