College of Administration and Economics Discusses Student and Graduate Training Plan with the Accountants and Auditors Syndicate

Today, Tuesday, 7 October 2025, Asst. Prof. Dr. Haider Al-Janabi, Deputy Dean for Academic Affairs at the College of Administration and Economics, University of Karbala, received a delegation from the Accountants and Auditors Syndicate – Karbala Branch, led by Dr. Rafel Faisal Hasan, to discuss ways of cooperation in training and qualifying the college’s students and graduates.

Accompanying the syndicate delegation were Prof. Dr. Amir Ali Khalil, Head of the University’s Qualification, Employment, and Follow-up Division, and Mr. Rasul Abdul Jalil Mahdi, Head of the Internal Audit and Control Division at the college.

During the meeting, the parties discussed mechanisms for implementing a training plan for students and graduates, including the organization of practical courses and workshops in collaboration with the Syndicate. The goal is to develop students’ practical and professional skills and bridge the gap between academic knowledge and practical application, aligning with labor market requirements in the financial and accounting sector.

Dr. Rafel Faisal Hasan emphasized the Syndicate’s commitment to supporting training programs that enhance the competence of students and graduates and increase their employment opportunities, praising the College of Administration and Economics for preparing highly skilled scientific and professional personnel.

At the conclusion of the meeting, both parties agreed to develop future cooperation and establish a joint action plan to implement specialized training programs in accounting and financial auditing, contributing to the development of students and university graduates.
