The College of Administration and Economics at the University of Karbala Organizes a Short Story Competition for Students of the Scientific Departments

As part of its efforts to support student talents and develop literary creativity among university students, the College of Administration and Economics at the University of Karbala organized a short story competition in preparation for participation in the university’s central competition dedicated to this literary field.

The event was supervised by the College’s Student Activities Division, which worked to provide an encouraging environment for talented students to showcase their creative abilities in narrative writing and literary expression, while also promoting positive competition among students from various scientific departments.

The competition aims to discover students’ hidden literary potential and encourage them to integrate scientific and cultural dimensions, contributing to the development of well-rounded university personalities.

A selection of the best submitted stories will be made by a specialized committee consisting of professors of literature, language, and student activities. These winning entries will represent the college in the university-wide competition across the Colleges of the University of Karbala. Certificates of appreciation and symbolic prizes will also be awarded to the winners and participants in recognition of their efforts and creativity.

The Student Activities Division emphasized that this event is part of the college’s annual plan aimed at nurturing students’ cultural and artistic dimensions alongside their academic achievements, in line with the University of Karbala’s mission to prepare students who possess awareness, knowledge, and a broad cultural background.
