Ms. Iman Adnan Al-Asadi, a faculty member at the College of Administration and Economics, University of Karbala, participated in the Second London Conference on Social and Human Sciences, hosted by the University of Westminster in London, with wide participation from researchers and academics from various countries around the world.
This participation comes to strengthen the international presence of the College of Administration and Economics and reflects the university’s commitment to academic openness and contribution to global scientific activities.
Al-Asadi presented her research paper titled:
“The Role of Digital Infrastructure in Attracting Technological Investments,”
which addressed the importance of developing digital infrastructure as a key factor in creating a secure, flexible, and responsive technological environment that meets the requirements of technological transformation.
The research highlighted indicators for measuring the quality of digital infrastructure and how these indicators can be used to assess the readiness of the national economy to absorb modern technologies and adopt innovation. It also explained how such readiness provides a technologically attractive foundation for technological investments, contributing to enhancing economic competitiveness and improving the efficiency of productive sectors.
This participation aligns with the University of Karbala’s direction to support researchers and encourage them to publish their scientific work in reputable international conferences, thereby strengthening its global academic and research standing.
