The College of Administration and Economics at the University of Karbala organized an awareness course titled “Examination Instructions and Student Conduct During Final Exams,” held from December 9 to 12, 2025, with wide participation from undergraduate students across the college’s scientific departments.
The course lectures were delivered by:
- Asst. Prof. Dr. Alaa Hussein Fadhil
- Engineer Suhad Hussein Shaya
- Instructor Hasan Mahdi Salih
The course aimed to familiarize students with the examination regulations and guidelines followed at the university, clarify their rights and responsibilities during final exams, and ensure a calm and organized examination environment that reflects the principles of academic integrity.
The course included a detailed explanation of examination systems, how to properly handle the exam booklet, rules for entering the examination hall, requirements for time commitment, and instructions related to the use of the university ID and the materials permitted inside the hall. It also addressed the behaviors students are expected to maintain during exams, as well as effective methods for managing stress and time pressure.
Open discussions were held between the lecturers and the students to answer questions, highlight common examination violations and ways to avoid them, and emphasize values such as discipline, responsibility, and respect for university regulations.
At the end of the course, students expressed their appreciation for the information presented, emphasizing the importance of such activities in helping them prepare effectively for final exams and strengthening their awareness of approved examination policies.
