College of Administration and Economics at the University of Karbala Organizes a Training Course on Workplace Conflict Management

The College of Administration and Economics – University of Karbala organized a training course titled “Workplace Conflict Management: How to Handle Challenges”, held from December 22–24, 2025, with the participation of undergraduate students. The course is part of the college’s efforts to develop behavioral and managerial skills among students and prepare them for future labor market requirements.

The course aimed to introduce students to the concept of workplace conflict, its causes and types, and highlight its positive and negative impacts on individual and group performance. It also sought to equip students with skills and strategies for effectively managing professional conflicts and transforming them into constructive opportunities that improve organizational relationships and strengthen teamwork.

The course covered conflict management strategies, effective communication methods, negotiation skills, and problem-solving techniques, along with real-life examples and practical cases to help students understand potential challenges in the workplace and how to handle them professionally.

The training was delivered by Asst. Instructor Zainab Salem Abdul Zaid, who used an interactive approach, allowing students to participate in discussions and ask questions, enhancing the practical and applied aspects of the course.

At the conclusion of the course, participants expressed their gratitude to the college administration and the instructor, emphasizing the importance of such training programs in developing personal and managerial skills and preparing students to efficiently handle the challenges of the future workplace.
