College of Administration and Economics at the University of Karbala Organizes a Training Course on “Strategic Financial Planning” for Its Staff

The College of Administration and Economics at the University of Karbala organized a specialized training course titled “Strategic Financial Planning” for the period from December 14 to 16, 2025, with the participation of several college staff members. This initiative is part of the college’s efforts to develop staff capabilities and enhance financial and administrative efficiency.

The course was delivered by Ms. Zahraa Akram Obaid, who covered the concept of strategic financial planning, its importance in supporting decision-making, and aligning financial objectives with the institutional vision. She also reviewed modern methods for preparing long-term financial plans, efficiently managing financial resources, and analyzing and mitigating financial risks.

The course included practical and applied modules aimed at enabling participants to understand the mechanisms for preparing planning budgets, optimizing resource utilization, and promoting principles of financial transparency and discipline in accordance with applicable laws and regulations.

Participants actively engaged in discussions and asked questions, enriching the practical aspects of the course and facilitating knowledge exchange. They emphasized the importance of such courses in developing professional performance and improving administrative and financial operations within the college.

This training course is part of the annual plan of the College of Administration and Economics at the University of Karbala, aimed at enhancing staff competencies, building their capacities, and contributing to improved institutional performance and the achievement of academic and administrative objectives.
