Council of the College of Administration and Economics Holds Its Seventeenth Session

The Council of the College of Administration and Economics at the University of Karbala held its seventeenth regular session, chaired by the Dean of the College, Assistant Professor Dr. Hashim Jabbar Al-Husseini, in the presence of all council members in addition to the representative of the faculty members.

At the beginning of the meeting, the Dean welcomed the council members and praised their continuous efforts in advancing the academic and administrative progress of the college. During the meeting, several important topics listed on the agenda were discussed, including following up on the progress of the educational process in undergraduate and postgraduate studies, preparations for the current academic year, and reviewing the reports of the scientific and administrative committees.

The council also discussed mechanisms for developing the research and academic plans of the scientific departments and enhancing scientific cooperation with universities and research institutions. In addition, several issues related to student affairs and the services provided to them were reviewed in order to create an integrated university environment.

During the session, Assistant Professor Dr. Hashim Jabbar Al-Husseini emphasized the importance of working in a spirit of teamwork and combining efforts to achieve the college’s strategic goals in the fields of education, scientific research, and community service.

At the conclusion of the meeting, the council approved a number of decisions and recommendations aimed at supporting the academic and administrative process, in line with the directives of the Presidency of the University of Karbala and the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research.
