As part of its ongoing efforts to keep pace with technological advancements and enhance the efficiency of its staff and students, the College of Administration and Economics at the University of Karbala organized a specialized training course titled “Automation and Transformation in the Work Environment”, held at the college’s Continuing Education Hall.
The course was delivered by:
- Assistant Lecturer Marwa Ali Naama, who provided a comprehensive theoretical explanation of the concept of automation, its importance in the modern business environment, and its impact on job structures and work methods.
- Engineer Hussein Sattar, who focused in his lecture on the technical aspects, presenting a range of practical applications and modern software used in automating administrative and production processes, with real-world examples.
- Monitor Mohammed Majeed, who contributed to the organizational and practical aspects of the course, offering several recommendations to support digital transformation in academic and administrative work environments.
The course aimed to:
- Highlight the importance of digital transformation in institutions.
- Enhance participants’ skills in using various automation tools.
- Raise awareness of automation’s role in reducing costs and increasing efficiency.
- Discuss the challenges associated with this transformation and ways to overcome them.
The course witnessed a notable turnout from the college’s faculty, staff, and students. It included discussions and contributions that enriched the course content, reflecting the participants’ interest in applying automation concepts in real-world work environments.
At the conclusion of the course, participation certificates were distributed to attendees. The college administration reaffirmed its commitment to continuing to organize such developmental courses that serve the educational and administrative processes.
