As part of its ongoing efforts to improve the university environment and upgrade infrastructure, the College of Administration and Economics at the University of Karbala has initiated maintenance and renovation work on the deanery shaft (skylights). The goal is to enhance the building’s efficiency and ensure a safe and suitable working environment for staff and visitors.

The work is being carried out under the direct supervision and on-site follow-up of Assistant Professor Dr. Hashem Jabbar Al-Husseini, the respected Dean of the College, who emphasized the administration’s commitment to providing top-tier services and infrastructure befitting the college’s academic stature and serving both staff and students.

The college’s Services Division played a key role in executing the maintenance work, demonstrating clear dedication in fulfilling their assigned tasks. The activities included cleaning the shaft, securing and rehabilitating the skylights, and ensuring the safety of service pathways—all while adhering to occupational safety standards.

This initiative is part of a series of development and maintenance projects implemented by the college as part of its annual plan, aiming to improve service quality and provide a fully integrated and sustainable university environment.
