Faculty Member from the College of Administration and Economics – University of Karbala Participates in PhD Defense Committee at the University of Baghdad

By the grace of God, Professor Dr. Sultan Jasim Sultan Al-Nasrawi, a faculty member at the College of Administration and Economics – University of Karbala, participated on Monday, 1/9/2025, as a member of the committee evaluating the PhD dissertation of the distinguished and polite student Ayman Talal Dhiab at the College of Administration and Economics – University of Baghdad, Department of Economics. The dissertation was entitled:

“The Role of Structural Reforms in Public Revenues in Addressing Budgetary Constraints in Iraq.”

The dissertation aimed to examine the state of public finance and revenues in Iraq, as well as the constraints resulting from reliance on oil and the underutilization of tax and other sources of revenue.

The academic discussion took place in a distinguished scholarly atmosphere, including constructive scientific contributions and debates, which led to the approval of the dissertation after fulfilling all required academic conditions.

On this occasion, we extend our heartfelt congratulations to the student on this academic achievement, wishing him and his supervisor continued success in their academic and scientific endeavors.
