College of Administration and Economics at the University of Karbala Holds Preliminary Tests for the Quran Recitation Competition

Under the patronage of the Dean of the College of Administration and Economics at the University of Karbala, Asst. Prof. Dr. Hashem Jabbar Al-Husseini, the Student Activities Division organized the preliminary tests for the Quran Recitation Competition in the college hall.

This event aims to reinforce spiritual values, deepen the connection with the Holy Quran, and nurture students’ talents in memorization, recitation, and proper Tajweed. A number of students from various academic departments participated in the tests, creating an atmosphere filled with faith and healthy competition, as they demonstrated their skills in accurate recitation and mastery of Tajweed rules.

Mr. Ahmed Subaih, Head of the Student Activities Division, explained that these tests represent the first stage of selecting outstanding students who will represent the college in university-level Quran competitions at the University of Karbala and other Iraqi universities. He affirmed the Division’s commitment to supporting religious and cultural activities that strengthen students’ academic and moral character.

In conclusion, the Dean commended the efforts of the organizing committee and participants, emphasizing the importance of such activities in developing students’ potential and fostering a generation that is faithful to the Holy Quran and its noble values.
