The College of Administration and Economics at the University of Karbala Organizes a Training Course Titled“Stress Management and Positive Thinking”

The College of Administration and Economics at the University of Karbala organized a training course titled “Stress Management and Positive Thinking” from November 24 to 26, 2025, with the participation of a group of undergraduate students.

The course was delivered by Prof. Hussam Hussein Shaya, who presented key scientific and psychological concepts related to mechanisms for dealing with stress that students may face in their academic and personal lives. He also explained methods for enhancing positive thinking, time management, and improving decision-making skills.

The lecturer discussed several important themes, including:

  • Understanding sources of psychological pressure and how to analyze them.
  • Strategies to control stress and turn it into motivation for achievement.
  • The role of positive thinking in developing academic performance and achieving psychological balance.
  • Skills for facing challenges constructively and strengthening self-confidence.

The course witnessed strong interaction from students through questions and participation in practical activities aimed at reinforcing positive behaviors and developing effective communication skills.

This course is part of a series of training programs adopted by the college to support students and equip them with life and academic skills that contribute to building a balanced personality capable of facing university-stage pressures with confidence and flexibility.
