Abstract

    This research aims to identify the role of smart leadership in the quality of performance of educational institutions for a sample of educational staff in some schools in the Ain al-Tamar district of the General Directorate of Education in the Holy Governorate of Karbala, starting from the question: (What is the role of smart  leadership in the quality of performance of educational institutions).

Smart leaders were chosen because they are among the modern leadership styles that care about human resources and their work and try to raise their leadership level by implementing the job service performance quality program. The first main hypothesis of the research and its sub-hypotheses examined the correlation between the first variable, which is smart leadership (the independent variable) and its three dimensions: (emotional-emotional intelligence, rational intelligence, and spiritual intelligence). The second variable is the quality of service performance (the dependent variable) with its five dimensions: (tangibility, dependability, responsiveness, reliability, and empathy).

        Relevant data related to the subject of the research were collected by adopting a questionnaire that included paragraphs that included the dimensions of the variables above. A sample was selected from the research community, which consisted of (200) individuals, and (189) of them were retrieved and could be analysed. Some statistical methods were used, represented by (Kolmogorov). -smirnov Test) The researcher used the descriptive and factor analytical method       A set of conclusions were reached, the most important of which was the existence of a correlation and positive moral influence between smart leadership and the quality of performance of educational institutions. Accordingly, the researcher presented a set of recommendations, the most important of which is the necessity of having smart leadership among educational staff in the schools of Ain al-Tamr District, affiliated with the General Directorate of Education in the Governorate. Holy Karbala and adopting this style of leadership to motivate and empower employees, which leads to quality job service performance with all. sincerity, effectiveness, and attention to providing a positive work . environment Key words: smart leadership, quality oaf service performance .
