College of Administration and Economics at the University of Karbala Welcomes a Delegation from Ferdowsi University to Strengthen Academic Collaboration

The College of Administration and Economics at the University of Karbala hosted a delegation of professors from Ferdowsi University, Iran, as part of efforts to implement the memorandums of understanding and twinning agreements signed between the two universities during the Iraq-Iran Science Week.

The delegation was welcomed by Dr. Hashim Jabbar Al-Husseini, Assistant Professor and Dean of the College, along with several faculty and administrative members. During the meeting, discussions focused on academic and scientific collaboration, exploring ways to implement joint programs in research, academic exchange, and the organization of conferences and scientific seminars.

In his welcoming speech, Dr. Al-Husseini emphasized the importance of strengthening academic ties between Iraqi and Iranian educational institutions, viewing the visit as a practical step toward executing the agreements. He also expressed the college’s readiness to welcome researchers and students from Ferdowsi University and to promote the exchange of expertise between both sides.

The visiting delegation expressed their gratitude for the warm reception, affirming their commitment to expanding scientific cooperation to enhance academic and research development. The meeting also included discussions on joint research projects and the potential for student exchange in postgraduate programs, fostering greater academic integration between the two universities.
