Karbala – The Dean of the College of Administration and Economics at the University of Karbala, Assistant Professor Dr. Hashem Jabbar Al-Husseini, participated in the activities of the First Scientific Conference for Postgraduate Studies, organized by the College of Agriculture at the University of Karbala under the theme: “Scientific Research: A Fundamental Pillar for Sustainable Development.” The event was attended by a distinguished group of academics, researchers, and postgraduate students from various colleges within the university.
Dr. Al-Husseini’s participation came in response to an official invitation from the College of Agriculture. He attended the opening session of the conference and expressed his full support for such scientific events, which contribute to enhancing research efforts and developing the academic skills of postgraduate students.
In a statement on the sidelines of the conference, Dr. Al-Husseini praised the high scientific quality of the presented research and the excellent organization of the event. He emphasized the importance of strengthening scientific cooperation between colleges through joint conferences and seminars, noting their vital role in exchanging expertise and integrating academic disciplines.
He also pointed out that the College of Administration and Economics is keen to support postgraduate students and encourage them to produce high-quality research that contributes to solving economic and developmental challenges and serves the local community.
The conference featured a series of scientific research presentations in fields such as agriculture, environment, and natural resources.
