Karbala – The Student Talent Testing Committee at the College of Administration and Economics at the University of Karbala has completed its work in discovering and nurturing student talents, as part of its support for extracurricular activities and encouraging creativity among students.
The tests have continued for the second consecutive day under the supervision of an excellent committee, which included diligent students Hussein Al-Asadi and Hassan Adi, with direct coordination with the Student Activities Unit Coordinator, Assistant Lecturer Rawa’ Issam. A series of tests were organized to evaluate a wide range of student talents in various fields, such as poetry, painting, Arabic calligraphy, acting, photography, singing, and public speaking, among others.
The events witnessed active participation from students, who showcased their diverse skills in a lively, positive atmosphere reflecting a spirit of constructive competition. The committee ensured the use of objective and precise criteria to evaluate performances, ensuring that the best talents were selected in a transparent and fair manner.
In turn, the Student Activities Unit Coordinator confirmed that this initiative is part of the college’s vision to develop the creative aspects of students and nurture their personalities in a comprehensive way, blending academic, cultural, and artistic dimensions.
The names of the top-performing students are set to be announced and honored in a special event in the near future. Some of them will also be nominated to represent the college in competitions and events at the university and provincial levels.
