As part of its efforts to promote a culture of volunteerism and instill the values of social solidarity among students, a volunteer team from the College of Administration and Economics – University of Karbala conducted a field visit to the Bahar Al-Jood Charitable and Cultural Foundation. This initiative falls within the activities of the Human Rights Unit at the college.
The team was led by:

- Mrs. Makiya Ibrahim Khalaf
This visit was part of the college’s extracurricular activities, aimed at exploring the humanitarian and charitable work carried out by the foundation and learning about the mechanisms used to support underprivileged segments of society. It also sought to open doors for future collaboration between the college and the foundation in the fields of community development and humanitarian service.
The foundation’s officials warmly welcomed the visiting team and provided a detailed overview of the foundation’s key activities in the areas of social care, culture, and sustainable development.
At the end of the visit, the team expressed their gratitude and appreciation to the administration of Bahar Al-Jood Foundation for its significant efforts in serving the community. They emphasized the importance of continuing such initiatives to strengthen community partnerships and foster a spirit of humanity and cooperation between academic institutions and charitable organizations.
