College of Administration and Economics at the University of Karbala Organizes Major Cleaning Campaign

As part of its efforts to promote a sense of community responsibility and maintain a healthy and clean university environment, the College of Administration and Economics at the University of Karbala organized a major cleaning campaign, covering the main street opposite the college buildings, with wide participation from faculty members, staff, and students.

The campaign was conducted under the direct supervision of the Dean of the College, Asst. Prof. Dr. Hashim Jabbar Al-Husseini, who emphasized that this initiative is part of the college’s ongoing activities aimed at creating a clean and safe environment that enhances the aesthetics of the university campus and serves the community.

The Dean also highlighted the college’s strong focus on voluntary activities that foster cooperation and a sense of belonging among students, urging all students and staff to make such practices a permanent culture that reflects the civilized image of the university.

The campaign witnessed remarkable cooperation among the college’s various departments, with participants engaged in collecting waste, arranging sidewalks, and cleaning green spaces, helping to present the street in a dignified and attractive manner befitting the University of Karbala.

This campaign represents an important step in a series of initiatives implemented by the college to serve both the university and the local community, in line with its objectives and mission to promote environmental awareness and social responsibility.
