The College of Administration and Economics – University of Karbala continues to provide its services to the honorable pilgrims within the University of Karbala Service Procession, held on the occasion of the blessed Arbaeen pilgrimage, stemming from its humanitarian and religious duty to serve Imam Hussein (peace be upon him) and his visitors.
These efforts come under the direct supervision of the President of the University of Karbala, Prof. Dr. Sabah Wajid Ali, and with on-site follow-up and active presence of the Dean of the College of Administration and Economics, Asst. Prof. Dr. Hashim Jabbar Al-Husseini, along with the active participation of the faculty members, staff, and students of the college.
The procession provides a wide range of services to the pilgrims, including offering food and drinks, distributing meals and hot and cold beverages, providing rest areas, guidance and counseling services, as well as contributing to cleaning campaigns and organizing the movement of pilgrims to ensure smooth passage towards the holy city of Karbala.
The Dean of the College affirmed that this participation represents part of the university’s mission to promote the spirit of volunteerism and community service, noting that the college’s staff work as one team to provide the best services to the pilgrims of Aba Abdillah Al-Hussein (peace be upon him), renewing the commitment to continue this approach in all religious and humanitarian occasions.
