The College of Administration and Economics at the University of Karbala held an educational seminar titled “Financial and Accounting Analysis and Its Role in Supporting Managerial Decision-Making.” The seminar was delivered by Professor Dr. Kamal Kazem Jawad and Mr. Ahmed Qais, Director of Al-Mansour Private Bank, and attended by Assistant Professor Dr. Hashim Jabbar Al-Husseini, Dean of the College, along with several faculty members and students.

The seminar aimed to raise students’ awareness of the importance of financial and accounting analysis in supporting the decision-making process within institutions, highlighting its role in improving financial performance and enhancing administrative efficiency. The session also addressed the relationship between financial analysis and banking activities, as well as ways to employ modern financial tools to improve the performance of economic institutions.

The seminar witnessed active engagement from attendees through questions and contributions that enriched the discussion and helped deepen the practical understanding of the seminar’s topic.

At the end of the event, the Dean expressed his gratitude and appreciation to the speakers for the valuable information and outstanding efforts they provided, emphasizing the importance of continued cooperation between the college and banking institutions to advance the scientific and practical skills of the college’s students.
