Assistant Professor Dr. Hussein Ali Abdullah Al-Mayahi Chairs the Ministerial Committee for Evaluating the Scientific and Academic Status at the College of Administration and Economics – University of Kufa

Assistant Professor Dr. Hussein Ali Abdullah Al-Mayahi, Assistant Dean for Administrative and Financial Affairs at the College of Administration and Economics, University of Karbala, chaired the ministerial committee tasked with evaluating the scientific and academic status at the College of Administration and Economics, University of Kufa. The assignment was based on the ministerial order issued by the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research / Supervision and Scientific Evaluation Authority / Department of Scientific Evaluation, under the number (443/T/T/2025) dated 2/10/2025.

This visit came within the framework of the Ministry’s ongoing efforts to monitor quality standards and university performance, aiming to strengthen academic integrity in Iraqi universities and to develop their educational and administrative environments.

During the visit, the committee reviewed the main evaluation areas, which included administrative and academic aspects, infrastructure, quality assurance, and accreditation standards. The committee also listened to a detailed presentation by Professor Dr. Haider Al-Murshidi, Assistant Dean for Scientific Affairs, who highlighted the efforts made to develop curricula, improve the educational environment, and enhance academic and administrative performance within the college.

At the conclusion of the visit, the ministerial committee commended the efforts of the teaching and administrative staff and praised the college for fulfilling all evaluation requirements. The committee emphasized that these results reflect the high academic standards and distinguished progress of the College of Administration and Economics at the University of Kufa, reinforcing its academic standing among colleges of administration and economics in Iraq.
