With the grace of God, the College of Administration and Economics at the University of Karbala participated in the Second Scientific Conference of the College of Administration and Economics – University of Duhok, held under the theme:
“Digital Economy and Administrative Transformation in Light of Modern Technological Developments.”
The conference witnessed broad participation from researchers and academics representing various Iraqi universities.
Professor Faisal Alwan Al-Taie presented his research paper titled:
“Digital Transformation Strategies and Their Impact on the Efficiency of Financial Operations: An Exploratory Analytical Study of Employees’ Opinions in a Sample of Banks Operating in the Holy City of Karbala.”
The research addressed the impact of adopting digital transformation strategies in enhancing financial performance efficiency within banking institutions. It relied on a rigorous scientific methodology based on analyzing the opinions of employees in several local banks.
The paper also highlighted the most prominent challenges facing banks in implementing digital transformation, in addition to offering a set of recommendations aimed at developing banking services and improving operational efficiency through the adoption of modern technologies.
The research received considerable attention and appreciation from the attendees and the scientific committee, given its scientific value and its contribution to supporting the digital development agenda in Iraq’s financial and banking sector.
