The College of Administration and Economics at the University of Karbala organized a training course entitled “The Art of Effective Leadership for Students in University and Professional Life”, held from October 21 to 23, 2025, with the participation of a group of undergraduate students in the college.
The course aimed to develop students’ leadership skills and enhance their abilities in communication, decision-making, team management, and personal and professional planning, contributing to the preparation of a generation of leaders capable of facing challenges in both university and professional life.
The course lectures were delivered by:

- Dr. Suhad Hussein Shaya
- Assistant Lecturer Hassan Mahdi Saleh
The course curriculum included theoretical lectures and practical exercises covering modern leadership concepts, qualities of a successful leader, mechanisms of influence and positive motivation, alongside practical exercises to apply leadership skills in real university scenarios.
At the conclusion of the course, the lecturers emphasized the importance of positive and responsible leadership in shaping the university student’s personality, its role in promoting initiative, creativity, and teamwork, in line with the University of Karbala’s vision of preparing active young leaders in society.
