The College of Administration and Economics at the University of Karbala received a ministerial committee from the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research as part of its evaluation of the college’s infrastructure and academic environment in preparation for the establishment of the Department of Auditing and Control.
The committee was welcomed by the Dean of the College, Assistant Professor Dr. Hashim Jabbar Al-Husseini, along with several assistant deans and heads of academic departments. During the visit, the committee reviewed classrooms, scientific laboratories, the library, and administrative facilities, in addition to discussing the proposed curriculum for the new department and its alignment with quality standards and academic accreditation requirements.
The Dean emphasized that the establishment of the Department of Auditing and Control is part of the college’s efforts to expand its academic programs and meet the needs of the local job market, by preparing qualified personnel capable of handling auditing and control tasks in both governmental and private institutions.
The ministerial committee praised the college’s readiness and organization, appreciating the efforts of the college administration and its academic and administrative staff in preparing all necessary requirements for the opening of the new department.
At the conclusion of the visit, the committee expressed its appreciation for the college’s progress in education and infrastructure, affirming its support for the University of Karbala’s initiatives to develop academic programs and establish specialized disciplines that serve society and keep pace with modern developments.
