As part of promoting humanitarian values and instilling a sense of social responsibility among students, the College of Administration and Economics at the University of Karbala organized a volunteer activity for third-year students of the Department of Administration at the Elderly Care Home in Holy Karbala.

The volunteer work included a variety of humanitarian and service activities, such as providing moral support to the residents, engaging with them directly to bring joy and happiness to their lives, and contributing to some service and organizational tasks within the facility, reflecting a spirit of cooperation and social solidarity.

This activity aligns with the college’s approach of linking academic pursuits with humanitarian and social dimensions and promoting a culture of volunteerism among students, given its positive impact on shaping student character and developing a sense of belonging and responsibility toward society.

The administrators of the Elderly Care Home expressed their gratitude and appreciation for this initiative, valuing the role of the College of Administration and Economics and its students in supporting this important segment of society, and emphasizing the importance of continuing such activities that help spread values of compassion and human solidarity.
