The Department of Statistics at the College of Administration and Economics – University of Karbala held a meeting at the department headquarters on Tuesday, 10/2/2026. The meeting was chaired by Lecturer Dr. Bashar Khalid Ali, Head of the Department, and attended by the Department Rapporteur, Assistant Lecturer Alaa Sami Hadi, along with a number of the department’s faculty members.

The meeting was held to welcome the esteemed professors, strengthen the spirit of cooperation and joint academic work, and discuss several important points aimed at developing both academic and administrative performance within the department.

The agenda included reviewing the progress of the educational process, discussing mechanisms to enhance the academic level, organizing class schedules, following up on student affairs, and emphasizing adherence to university regulations and instructions, as well as working collaboratively as one team to achieve the set objectives.

At the conclusion of the meeting, the Head of the Department of Statistics, Lecturer Dr. Bashar Khalid Ali, stressed the importance of unifying efforts among the department’s faculty members to advance the academic and educational reality. He praised the active role played by the professors and wished them continued success and prosperity in their academic careers.
