College of Administration and Economics – University of Karbala Organizes a Field Visit to Support International Students within the “Study in Iraq” Program

The College of Administration and Economics at the University of Karbala – Student Activities Unit, under the supervision of the Assistant Dean for Administrative and Financial Affairs, Asst. Prof. Dr. Hussein Ali Abdullah Al-Miyahi, organized a field visit to review the conditions of international students studying under the “Study in Iraq” program. This initiative comes as part of the college’s commitment to providing an integrated and supportive educational environment for foreign students.

The visit aimed to follow up on the academic, administrative, and service needs of international students, as well as to listen to their feedback and suggestions in order to improve the level of services provided and enhance their integration into the university community.

During the visit, the college emphasized the importance of the “Study in Iraq” program as a national initiative designed to attract students from different countries and to strengthen the presence of Iraqi universities on the international academic stage. The college also noted that cultural diversity on campus represents an added value that contributes to knowledge exchange and broadens academic horizons.

The visit included direct meetings with a number of international students, during which academic guidance and support were provided. The students were encouraged to participate in student activities and cultural and scientific events organized by the college, which would enhance their positive interaction with their peers and help develop their skills.

At the conclusion of the visit, the international students expressed their appreciation for this initiative, praising the attention and continuous follow-up of the college’s deanship. They affirmed that this reflects the spirit of cooperation and care upheld by the College of Administration and Economics at the University of Karbala.
