The Dean of the College of Administration and Economics – University of Karbala, Assistant Professor Dr. Hashem Jabbar Al-Husseini, accompanied by the Assistant Dean for Administrative and Financial Affairs, Assistant Professor Dr. Hussein Ali Abdullah Al-Miyahi, held an expanded meeting with a group of postgraduate degree holders assigned to administrative tasks at the college.
The meeting aimed to review the progress of administrative work at the college, examine the tasks assigned to them, and discuss ways to enhance administrative performance and overcome challenges they may face in carrying out their daily duties.
During the meeting, the Dean emphasized that the college seeks to engage academic competencies in supporting the administrative side, as this contributes to enhancing institutional performance efficiency and improving the quality of services provided to students and faculty members. He also stressed the importance of adhering to administrative regulations and working in a spirit of teamwork to ensure the achievement of the planned goals.
For his part, the Assistant Dean noted that the college administration is keen to provide all the necessary conditions for its staff to perform their duties effectively, pointing out that assigning postgraduate degree holders to administrative tasks aligns with the university’s approach to making optimal use of the available expertise and competencies.
At the end of the meeting, the Dean and the Assistant Dean listened to the attendees’ inputs and suggestions aimed at improving work performance, affirming that the doors are open to everyone to present ideas and observations that would serve the college and advance its academic and administrative mission.
