The College of Administration and Economics – University of Karbala organized a training course entitled “Administrative Errors Committed by Administrative Units in the College of Administration and Economics”, held from December 15–17, 2025, with the participation of the college staff. This initiative comes as part of the college’s ongoing efforts to develop administrative performance and enhance the efficiency of its workforce.
The course aimed to highlight the most common administrative errors that may occur in administrative units during the execution of daily tasks, explain their causes, and discuss their negative impacts on institutional workflow. It also explored methods to address and minimize these errors in accordance with applicable laws and administrative regulations, contributing to higher levels of job discipline and improved administrative performance.
The course covered key topics, including the concept and types of administrative errors, the legal and administrative responsibilities associated with them, as well as practical case studies and real workplace examples. Emphasis was placed on the importance of adhering to regulations, fostering a culture of institutional work, and enhancing coordination between administrative units.
The lectures were delivered by Prof. Dr. Sahar Abbas Hussein, Dr. Salah Mahdi Jaber, and Asst. Instructor Suad Jubair Sultan, who provided both theoretical and practical insights, enriching participants’ knowledge and opening discussions on key administrative challenges and solutions.
At the conclusion of the course, participants expressed their appreciation to the college administration and the lecturers, emphasizing the importance of continuing such training programs due to their positive impact on developing administrative skills and enhancing institutional work within the College of Administration and Economics.
