Abstract

Renewable energy and the environmental footprint are considered an integrated economic system if they are used optimally with specific policies that achieve public benefit in all fields, as the experiences of the selected countries, such as the experience of (Egypt and Morocco) in establishing renewable energy and the environmental footprint, have had a role in motivating countries that have greater resources Including Iraq, where the study raised the fundamental question of what is renewable energy, and its role in the environmental footprint. Selected role experiences with the possibility of benefiting from them in Iraq? In the study, the researcher relied on the descriptive analytical approach, and the study also aimed to analyze the capabilities and considerations that are available in the selected countries such as (Egypt and Morocco) and the possibility of achieving the relationship between renewable energy and the environmental footprint.

We noticed that there are differences in the economic systems in this field, and it became clear that Egypt is distinguished with a high population density and was able to achieve an economic balance of combined energy between renewable energy and the environmental footprint, as well as the experience of Morocco achieved success because of its resources and high economic considerations, which made it an energy source and it is clear to us that they have similar economic characteristics that led to the success of the experiment, while the Iraqi side has economic characteristics and capabilities Considerations and mineral resources are high and can achieve the combined relationship and the relationship of electrical energy, renewable energy and the environmental footprint, as it is characterized by an environmental footprint for the year 2020, 11.1%, and carbon emissions reached 1.5%, which is a small percentage, so it can achieve a relationship because the rate of vital energy in Iraq reached about 72 % for the year 2020, so the experience in Iraq achieves the highest sustainable development for most economic and industrial sectors and services in Iraq.
