Karbala – As part of its social and humanitarian initiatives, the College of Administration and Economics at the University of Karbala organized a distinguished charity bazaar, held under the patronage of the respected Dean, Assistant Professor Dr. Hashem Jabbar Al-Husseini, with wide participation from students as well as academic and administrative staff.
The bazaar was held in the college’s corridors and featured a diverse display of handmade products, artistic and craftworks, homemade food, as well as dedicated sections for books, clothing, accessories, and other items showcasing the creativity and varied talents of the students.
The initiative aimed to support underprivileged groups by dedicating the proceeds from the bazaar to charitable causes. It also sought to foster a spirit of giving and volunteerism among students, while promoting a culture of initiative and community involvement.
In his speech during the opening of the bazaar, Dr. Al-Husseini praised the efforts of the students and the organizing teams, emphasizing that the college’s role goes beyond academic responsibilities. It also strives to instill humanitarian values in its students and provide opportunities for them to be creative and actively contribute to serving the community.
The event witnessed a large turnout and enthusiastic engagement from students and visitors, who praised the concept and organization, and expressed admiration for the quality of the exhibits and the noble goals behind the event.
This activity is part of a series of events organized by the college in support of charitable and developmental work, reaffirming its commitment to social responsibility alongside its educational mission.
