University of Karbala – College of Administration and Economics Organizes Training Course on “Developing Specialized Skills” within the National Strategic Program

As part of the National Strategic Program initiated by the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research, the Continuing Education Division at the College of Administration and Economics, University of Karbala, organized a specialized training course titled “Developing Specialized Skills.” The course was attended by a distinguished group of faculty members and staff from various departments and units within the college.

The primary goal of the course was to enhance and develop participants’ specialized skills, with a particular focus on electronic marketing skills, which have become an essential requirement in today’s modern business landscape. This initiative aligns with the college’s continuous efforts to improve the efficiency of its academic and administrative personnel, in accordance with strategic goals aimed at improving the quality of higher education and increasing the competitiveness of educational outcomes.

The course was delivered by:

Dr. Osama Fadel Radi, who presented a range of important topics, including:

  • Concepts of Specialized Skills: A comprehensive definition of specialized skills and their significance in improving job performance.
  • Importance of Specialized Skills: Clarification of the impact these skills have on work quality and task efficiency in academic and administrative institutions.
  • Steps to Acquire Specialized Skills: Systematic methods and effective strategies for skill acquisition, along with best global practices.
  • Development of Electronic Marketing Skills: Detailed guidance on how to leverage digital marketing to enhance audience engagement and increase the success of academic and administrative projects.
  • Digital Marketing Strategies: An overview of modern digital marketing plans and tools and how to apply them effectively.
  • Challenges of Digital Marketing in Iraq: Discussion of the obstacles facing the local digital marketing sector, with proposed solutions to overcome them.

Course Outcomes:

The course witnessed strong engagement from participants, who praised the rich content and interactive teaching style of Dr. Osama Fadel Radi. The course significantly contributed to participants’ understanding of the presented topics and to developing their abilities in digital marketing.

In conclusion, the course organizers emphasized that such training programs will continue as part of the college’s annual plan, in line with the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research’s vision to enhance human capacities and raise the standard of academic and administrative performance.
