The Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research announces the launch of the electronic portal dedicated to the transfer of students who are children of faculty members admitted through the Central Admission System (General Channel – Martyrs’ Families Channel), as well as graduates of Distinguished Schools and Baghdad College who study in English for the 2025–2026 academic year.
Students admitted outside their home province may transfer to an equivalent program in a college or institute within their home province, provided that the difference between their average and the minimum admission score of the desired college/department does not exceed five marks.
The Department of Studies, Planning, and Follow-up clarifies that the activation of examination numbers for eligible students who are children of faculty members holding postgraduate degrees (Master’s or Ph.D.) and working within the permanent staff of public universities, as well as the Imam Al-Kadhim College and Imam Al-Azam College, will be conducted electronically through the institution to which the faculty member belongs, via the Studies Portal:

Meanwhile, the activation of examination numbers for eligible students who are children of faculty members working within the Ministry’s headquarters, private universities, or the Scientific Research Authority will require an in-person visit to the Ministry, bringing with them the necessary documents specified in Item (H-6) of the Student Affairs Procedures Guide and Admission Regulations for the 2025–2026 academic year.
