The Institutional Accreditation Committee from the Presidency of the University of Karbala visited the College of Administration and Economics as part of the university’s plan to implement institutional academic accreditation standards and enhance university performance in line with the national quality standards approved by the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research.

The visit aimed to audit the institutional accreditation axes, which include evaluating administrative, organizational, and academic aspects, in addition to reviewing infrastructure, governance, scientific activities, and the services provided to students.

During their tour, the committee reviewed official documents and records, the college’s strategic plans, performance development programs, and the mechanisms adopted in applying quality and accreditation standards, emphasizing the importance of continuing efforts to promote a culture of quality across all scientific and administrative departments.

For their part, the college’s administration praised this visit as a reflection of the University Presidency’s commitment to monitoring the progress of colleges in quality and academic accreditation, noting that the college is steadfast in implementing its strategic plans to strengthen its academic standing and contribute to achieving the university’s mission and goals in serving the community and supporting development.
