The Council of the College of Administration and Economics at the University of Karbala held its fifth meeting for the 2025/2026 academic year, chaired by Asst. Prof. Dr. Hashem Jabbar Al-Husseini, Dean of the College, with the attendance of all council members, in addition to a representative of the college’s faculty.
The Dean began the meeting by welcoming the attendees and emphasizing the importance of teamwork and enhancing both academic and administrative performance in line with the university’s strategic directions.
The meeting agenda included discussions on several key topics, notably:
- Monitoring the progress of the educational process in the academic departments.
- Discussing student affairs and departmental proposals for curriculum development.
- Reviewing the college’s plans in the field of scientific research and publication in reputable international journals.
- Directing the encouragement of student activities and supporting volunteer and cultural initiatives within the college.
- Following up on the requirements of academic and administrative departments to provide a suitable learning environment for students.
At the conclusion of the meeting, the Dean praised the efforts of the council members and faculty in serving the students and the college, reaffirming the administration’s commitment to overcoming all obstacles to advance the college’s academic and scientific standards.
