Under the patronage of Asst. Prof. Dr. Hashem Jabbar Al-Husseini, Dean of the College of Administration and Economics at the University of Karbala, the college organized a training course titled “Your Voice Matters: How to Contribute to Influential Decision-Making”, held from 1 to 5 October 2025, with broad participation from undergraduate students in the Department of Business Administration.
The course was delivered by:

The course aimed to enhance students’ awareness of their active role in the workplace and decision-making, and to develop their communication and institutional skills, encouraging positive contributions that support administrative performance. It covered concepts of leadership, participation in decision-making, and the importance of the student voice in building a participatory university environment that promotes dialogue and responsibility.
The instructors emphasized the importance of preparing a generation of students capable of critical thinking, proactively proposing constructive ideas and suggestions to improve the university and institutional work environment. They noted that decision-making is not limited to administrative positions, but starts with every individual who has the will, vision, and ability to influence.
The course concluded with a discussion session in which students actively participated, highlighting the value of such courses in enhancing their leadership and managerial skills. Certificates of participation were distributed to attendees in recognition of their active engagement.
