The College of Administration and Economics at the University of Karbala organized a three-day training course entitled “Cash Flow Statement Application”, held from 7 to 9 October 2025, with participation from staff members of the college’s Accounts and Audit Departments.
The course aimed to enhance participants’ abilities in preparing and analyzing cash flow statements and understanding their role in assessing the financial performance of institutions, as well as enabling them to apply modern methods for tracking cash sources and uses within the framework of the unified accounting system.
The course was delivered by:

- Dr. Layla Al-Hakim
- Lecturer Dr. Mohammed Jabbar Fashakh
The instructors covered both theoretical and practical aspects of preparing financial statements according to international standards and their practical application in a university work environment.
At the conclusion of the course, practical discussions were held among participants on best accounting practices, emphasizing the importance of such training in enhancing the efficiency of financial and administrative staff at the university and providing them with modern expertise in accounting and financial analysis.
