The College of Administration and Economics at the University of Karbala organized a training course titled “The Role of Digital Transformation in Enhancing Financial Decisions” from October 14 to 16, 2025, with the participation of a group of the college’s employees.
This course comes as part of the college’s plans to develop the administrative and financial capabilities of its staff and to keep pace with modern technological advancements in financial management by integrating digital technologies into financial decision-making and data analysis.
The course was delivered by Lecturer Ahmed Jabbar Kaeed, who covered several key topics, including: the concept and dimensions of digital transformation in educational institutions, its role in improving financial work efficiency, and mechanisms for using digital systems in budgeting and financial performance analysis.
The course aims to enhance participants’ skills in dealing with modern technologies and employing digital data to support accurate financial decisions, contributing to the improvement of institutional performance within the college.
At the conclusion of the course, interactive discussions were held among participants regarding the challenges facing the implementation of digital transformation in academic institutions and the ways to overcome them to achieve smart and sustainable financial management.
