Under the patronage of the Dean of the College of Administration and Economics at the University of Karbala, Assistant Professor Dr. Hashim Jabbar Al-Husseini, the Department of Business Administration organized an awareness course titled “The Compass of Ethics: Integrity and Transparency in Your University Life,” held from October 12 to 14, 2025, with the participation of undergraduate students in the department.
The course was presented by Assistant Professor Dr. Doreen Benjamin Hormuz, Assistant Professor Dr. Hussein Ali Abdullah, and Lecturer Dr. Yasser Mahmood Fahad. The sessions addressed the importance of promoting values of integrity, transparency, and ethical responsibility among students within the university environment and their role in shaping a conscious academic personality capable of contributing to societal development.
The course aimed to instill a culture of positive university conduct and deepen students’ understanding of the importance of academic ethics in their educational journey, in addition to encouraging students to commit to values and principles that help create an honest and transparent university environment.
At the conclusion of the course, participants praised the topics presented and the interactive teaching approach, affirming that such courses contribute to enhancing ethical awareness and social responsibility among university students.
